Who's behind this
I'm Rishi Gompa, a student from Dallas. I've been building things since 3rd grade: Arduino robots, neural network models, science fair prototypes. My 2025 science fair project took first place at the Dallas Regional Science Fair and third at the Texas Science Fair.
General Grizzly is that same instinct pointed at a problem I run into all the time as a student myself: the gap between being handed information and actually understanding it. Most apps stop at the first part.
What we're trying to do
The mission is simple. Give students access to a learning tool that teaches incredibly well, not just one that looks like it does. That means lessons that adapt to what you actually know, questions that catch the gaps before a test does, and a study companion built to hold you to a real standard instead of just keeping you company.
What we care about
Hard work
A tool that actually teaches well isn't something you throw together in a weekend. Every lesson, every quiz question, every explanation gets rewritten until it really holds up.
Passion
This started because I wanted to build things, not because a market study said tutoring apps were trending. That's still the reason it keeps getting better.
Learning
I'm a student building a study tool, so I test every feature on myself first. Every mistake I make along the way teaches me something I fold back into making it better.
Feedback
The people using this know what's broken before I do. There's a feedback button on every page for a reason. I read every one, so this tool is the best it could be.
